Arteixo-Barrañán Promenade (Senda Azul)

The promenade Arteixo - Barrañán, also known as blue path,runs our coast from Sabón beach to Barrañán beach, connecting 7 of the 9 beaches of the Council.

Fraga de Sisalde

A Fraga is a Galician special area of thick underbrush. The  Fraga de Sisalde  and Boedo river are both a nature area.

Os Brozos Roman Bridge

Its conservation is good and, it seems, would belong to the Vía XX, Per Loca Maritima, from Emperor Caracalla´s itinerary.

Santo Tomé de Monteagudo Church

It belongs to the Romanesque style of the twelfth century. It has got pitched roof and basilica floor.

Santaia de Chamín Church

This church is an example of a Romanesque rural church with several later reconstructions. Its facade has got mouldings and a tympanum with a cross.

Santa Mariña de Lañas Church

A late (perhaps  the beginning of the 13th century) Romanesque parish church. It has basilica plan and it had some modifications over the centuries.

Santa María de Loureda Church

This church was originally built in a Romanesque style but it was deeply modified at a later time.

Santo Estevo de Morás Church

This is a single nave church with a rectangular apse and joined buttresses in two semicircular arches.

San Tirso de Oseiro Church

This is a Romanesque church. There is a shape as a chalice containing a wafer might be the oldest known representation of the Galician shield.

Nuestra Señora de Pastoriza Santuary

This sanctuary has a Romanesque origin, although it is actually a Baroque church, from the XVII century.

River Promenade Río Bolaños

It goes through the town and its environs allows for enjoying ornithology, river life and leisure time.

Sisalde Vermella

It runs between small waterfalls such as the Groba one, rows of laurels, cultivated areas, recreational areas and many mills

Sisalde Amarela

An almost virgin space. Bucolic. Otters and kingfishers can still be seen in its crystal clear waters.
