The heritage of Arteixo
Sorrizo Sea Museum
The museum is located on the wild and wonderful coast of Sorrizo. In a former marine research center from the 80s, converted into an interpretation center of the Costa da Morte Natura Network. Multipurpose and informative space with exhibition area and area for educational talks. It preserves the pit of one of the swimming pools converted into a small auditorium. It is right next to the sea so it is an impressive viewpoint of the Arteixo coast.

Os Brozos Roman Bridge
Its conservation is good and, it seems, would belong to the Vía XX, Per Loca Maritima, from Emperor Caracalla´s itinerary.
San Tirso de Oseiro Church
This is a Romanesque church. There is a shape as a chalice containing a wafer might be the oldest known representation of the Galician shield.
Santa María de Loureda Church
This church was originally built in a Romanesque style but it was deeply modified at a later time.
Santaia de Chamín Church
This church is an example of a Romanesque rural church with several later reconstructions. Its facade has got mouldings and a tympanum with a cross.
Santo Estevo de Morás Church
This is a single nave church with a rectangular apse and joined buttresses in two semicircular arches.
Santa Mariña de Lañas Church
A late (perhaps the beginning of the 13th century) Romanesque parish church. It has basilica plan and it had some modifications over the centuries.
Santo Tomé de Monteagudo Church
It belongs to the Romanesque style of the twelfth century. It has got pitched roof and basilica floor.
Baer Petroglyph
Nuestra Señora de Pastoriza Santuary
This sanctuary has a Romanesque origin, although it is actually a Baroque church, from the XVII century.
Marco da Anta Menhir
The menhir, built with big granite, traces date from the Neolithic period (4.500-2.500 B.C.).
Arteixo Spa
It is the most emblematic building, dating from the 18th century and for many years it was the famous Arteixo spa.
